“When I think about my queerness, I think about the legacy of brave, beautiful queer folks that have come before me. It makes me emotional to think about the courageous people that made it possible for me to be a safe, out-and-proud queer and I hope my actions can make a positive difference for the people in this world who still aren’t safe to be queer. I love my queer identity and community from the bottom of my heart and there’s nothing I would change about who I am.”
