In high school, I finally had both feet out, earning the nickname ‘Rose O’Donnell’ since I dressed more masculine. Funny how the nickname was forgotten when I conformed to the latest women’s fashion trends in junior year. Now in college, I can finally be a proud lesbian who can wear whatever I want without being compared to a 90’s comedian.”
