Kat Wheary (They/Them)

“I identify as pansexual (attracted to all genders) and non-binary (I don’t identify as male or female and use they/them pronouns). The hardest part of my queer journey is the erasure of my identity and the lack of representation. The first time I saw a non-binary character I sat down and wept tears of joy. I believe everyone should be able to identify with the art we consume because art is so important. Representation is important to me because it makes me feel valid and normal in a world that tells me I am neither. I will continue to fight for LGBT representation and be an advocate for non binary people.”
